This blog is a space for me to share some ideas, thoughts about education and technology applied in the classroom.
I appreciate every link that comes to my site and I'd do all efforts to correspond with a link back. Here are some guidelines for how I would like links to appear on your site. These are only suggestions, but using them will help other people find me easier in the search engines.
When you link to me, please do use the www in the URL and don't forget the slash (/) at the end of the web address. I would like you link to our home page like this:

<a href="http://www.educationandtech.com/">Education & Tech</a>
or like any of this:
Education & Tech: Passive Magister • Active Learning
<a href="http://www.educationandtech.com/">Education & Tech - Advice and Resources for Educators and Bloggers</a>

I’ve been lurking the blogosphere thanks to Facebook, Friendfeed, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Youlicit, Bloglines, Google Reader and lately Twitter and I try to leave comments everywhere I go.
Like most people, I am interested in blogs, social media, web tech, educational research, wiki, etc. I’ll use this blog to ask questions and to discuss ideas about these topics.
My special interest is in current awareness tools to raise the quality of education, following blog conversations, as our first attempt to know the state of educational matters.
By following the blogosphere I feel I have learned so much about topics of interest, although the Internet it is so fast-paced with new developments every day, it is sometimes hard to absorb all 'cured' information. It is so amazing to see how fast we can share and communicate thoughts and ideas via blogs and social networks.
I feel that once we have perfected, to a certain extent, the personal publishing, information overload, and social networks, we can move on at large and use the technology to spread constructive discussions about important and universal topics such as social media in education, education outreach, instructional technology, edtech+change leadership, etc. So blogs, RSS and social networking are the tools that could contribute to successful education reform.
We support the Do Follow movement, once you leave a comment on any of your favorite posts here, we’ll be giving you a backlink for doing so. We reserve the right to remove the 'good site,' 'me too' comments or any robot trash. Please drop me a meaningful comment.
This About This Blog page was inspired in About Trackbacks of Library Clips. If for any reasons you want to do me the favor of trackback Education & Tech, rest assured I'll be happy.
